Default Must be a base model, right?

I'v been avidly searching for blue '06 350z's for a while now and iv found one not too far away. At first glance i thought maybe it was a touring but then why is it so cheap? Upon closer examination the seats looked like cloth and not leather.

So im assuming this is a base model? If so do you think its a good deal? I'v been wanting to get one with VDC, TC and the LSD but i cant seem to find any 06 blue z's around here that are anymore than a base model. Would a base model really be so bad or should i keep looking till i find one with all the safety stuff?

Heres the autotrader link. Any advice or insite is very much appreciated.

There are better deals to be found than that one. Go with at least a enthu. model. I got my touring for under 25,000. Just look a little harder.

I honestly dont have much choice. This and one other are the only blue, 06, manual z's within 100 miles. I might try and see how low i can get them and try and check out this other one at a different dealer. The other one however has frost interior and i dont like it at all so im really set on this one.

Ill try and talk them down and see how it goes. See if i can get money off just for having those damn rims on them. I inquired if they had the stock rims but i havnt heard a reply. I think im just gonna drive up there soon when the money comes through. However if they still try to stick me with a ****ty deal i guess ill just wait for somthing else to come up.

Id really love a touring but there seems to be no good daytona blue z's around here and im getting anxious for my Z >.<. Thanks for the replys so far guys!

You do have choices. Wait, look further than 100 miles. The 07's are coming out soon. I think you could get an Enthusiast fro 27-28K. I believe that is a base since there are no buttons on the steering wheel for cruise control. It is WAY overpriced.

Unless I'm just going blind it looks to me like those seats are leather. It does seem like it would have the buttons on the steering wheel. I don't really know a lot about the '06 models though. Also I'm pretty sure those are the stock wheels.

Sellers often do not know what model they have or they don't care. They will often cut and paste a description from another source.

Drive before making an offer.

Looks like a base from the pic since there are no buttons on the steering wheel for the cruise and radio function.

Thanks guys for the help! I searched in a wider radius like someone sugested and still within 200 miles theres nothing but the ones im already looking at. i might just search all nissan dealerships within a state or so and i suppose they could ship it if i find exactly what i want. I could still drive it and everything when it got to my local dealer before i decided to buy it right? Ill just have to pay for the shipping?

Thanks again for the help!

At this point in time (with the 07's coming), what would be a fair price for a new 06' touring 350z? KBB says ~31,000

It is a base with the optional chrome wheels. Horrible deal though. That price is a ripoff.

Just keep looking around, wait awile a better deal will come up. I found a 2006 Z Enthusiast Interlagos Fire used with only 10,000 miles on it for 22,350.
So I jumped on it. So l just keep looking.

Zerohurst...the color you got on your car is gorgeous...saw one for sale on ebay I believe in that color and it is very sharp.

xy..that price is too high and yes that is a base model. It does seem that particular color is hard to find....I dont know of any available in this area and I have looked at ALL the ads believe me. Right now I am dickering on a 06
Touring in silver ....the dealer has come down to 25,500..the car does have 13,000 some miles on it but it is exactly what I want. Good luck with your search and if I find something in my area I will let you know about it.

From the mileage, I would guess that's a new car. If that's the case, you can make them put stock rims back on. That'll take probably 2,000 off their price. Then, make them come down on the price even more since that car will be a year old in a month. Invoice on that car is 25,860 and I wouldn't pay that much for it if I were you.
