Default trying to locate a Z

ok im looking for a ent. san marino blue 6MT in texas and ive searched several dealerships on the internet and cannot find one. because i dont want to order one and if i get one from a dealer im going get it myself instead of having someone drive it down for me. Or i may get it trailered in.

Dealers can search the nationwide inventory and easily find you a car that matches your requirements. They can arrange to have it shipped to their location.

My dealer located my requested specification about 250 miles away back in 2004. My dealer offered me three options. (1). A Technicians will pick it up but put the miles on it for no additional costs. (2). To load the Z on a truck for $500. (3). Take one of our 350Z’s drive to the other dealer and trade it with your requested Z and drive back and we will detail it your car. I chose the 3rd option and enjoyed the trip.

i think ill do option 3 also if they offer it to me because i dont want someone else driving my car especially since im getting a standard i dont want them 1) putting someone in it that cant drive or 2) putting someone in it that can drive and drives the hell outta it. so it will either be trailored up or ill be taking a trip..

The only way you can do it is to get zip codes for nearby cities and search the inventory within the maximum radius. You might find a hit that way.

Your needs are very specific: Blue Enthusiast. If you opt for another color or two, I’m sure that you can find a suitable 350Z.

Stick to your guns; I ended up searching 2/3 of the deaers in Cali & bought my Z from a dealer 300 miles away. I had the car driven to my front door without a problem.

Just keep expanding your search out until you find what you want (or have a dealer do it for you if you cut a deal with him).

I am looking for the same thing as you, had a dealer search the inventory and there is ONE in the whole state (FL). Unfortunately if they trade, he told me he cant give it to me at invoice like he would if it was in his lot cos he says he loses his holdback...dont know if its true..

bryanbarclay I sent you a PM

Dealerships can ship cars anywhere in the U.S., if you find one at another dealership you want and your current dealership you are working with won't/says they can't get it, then just buy it from that dealership!

I work at a Nissan dealership in VA, I will do some legwork for you guys if you can't get anyone else to.

I saw one at Darcars Nissan in Rockville, MD like about 30 minutes ago incase you are still interested in SMB. I didn't check to see if it was MT or AT. I only looked at it cause it was the first time seeing SMB. The car was mad dusty/dirty...so it looked like a black car.
