Ok, I'll offer a brief opinion.

What's not to like, it's a brand new car? That being said, WHY an '08? If you are *really* going to highly modify this car...

Why pay for a warranty that's going to be thrashed as soon as you starting modding?

Why pay for a new engine, brakes, wheels, tires, driveline components that are all going to be replaced?

Why pay for a shiny new paint job when you're going to be adding (and painting) a new front, perhaps rear, definitely a lip, side skirts, probably a hood?

You see where I'm going with this? If you're really going to mod the hell out of it (or however you characterized it...) find yourself a good clean used one and make it yours with the difference. Unless, of course, you just have cash to burn, baller!

buy an 03.

I have driven my 03 track, an 04 touring, an 06 rev-up, and an 07 Nismo.

I can tell you that there isnt $10,000 worth of variance between an 03 and an 08 base....especially not if you are going to replace everything.
