Can anyone help me? I recently saw an ad on TV to buy a new Titan for $15,000, maybe $15,900, but cant find the ad or dealer. Lowest I have negotiated was $17,560 +TTT. If anyone has heard or seen anything please respond ASAP as this would be a great deal! Each dealer that I have called is playing coy about the deal. As I have stated, I am presently at TMV (true market value) on one, but if anyone could shed light on the ad for $15,000 truck.......

 

Common ploy to get people in

the dealer that did that ad had 1 very very base model Titan at that price. It was probably sold that day, but they continued to run the ad to get people in. In very very very small writing at the bottom of the screen it said 1 at this price and then listed the VIN.

Honestly, if you found an XE at 17K, and you are happy with the most base truck I would buy that one. Just remember, it is going to cost you $100 a fill up and gets like 12 MPG.

I fill mine up every 5 days.

 

There is no $15,000 new Titan.

 

Costed me when it was $2.50 a gallon $55 to fill up my 04 Titan, and it got 15 mpg, and 17 highway.

 

I am sure you are right. I called back and spoke more with them, just about made the deal at $17500, and then they try to "hit" me with a dealer "handling" fee of $799.00! I asked what that was, and he told me that they add an undercoat sealant, pin striping, and interior detailing. Uhm ok, NO, I told him. That is just 100% profit and it isnt coming from me. He tried to make it sound like they were "giving" the thing away....I reminded him that the $5000.00 rebate is from Nissan to THEM. He agreed, went to the manage with my request, and sent me an email offer meeting my terms. NO dealer handling fee. I didnt pay it on the Armada or the SRT-4, so I am NOT paying it on this one either. I am not worried about trim level because I am a modder. I will buy the nicer upgraded parts from people selling them online or something. Thanks for the responses guys. Any other words of whatever, please let me know.

Nice post. But I think at a red light you would be very surprised at the launch. ThankAEM EMS for the built in 2 step configuration.

 

If I saw you launch at a red light... I'd laugh at you uncontrollably...

 

You know I try not to be harsh, but when someone as dumb as you post the response you just did, it becomes painfully obvious ignorance still prevails and runs wild. For your info sir, a 2 step allows you to set a rev limiter at a preset RPM which means when I launch from a dig, I do NOT spin UNCONTROLLABLY. Point in fact I do not spin much if any at all. With a launch from 4500 RPM @ 12psi, yes it it turbo, the AEM EMS (uhm, thats a full stand alone engine management) instantly gives me full boost back by 2nd gear, which "joker" is 32psi, all the way up to 8200 RPM. (factory rev limit is 6250, but since I am no longer factory, this limit was raised to 8200 RPM to allow the twins to make an additional 80whp.) So laugh as all YOU will see is my tail lights quickly pull away. Sorry, try again farmer. Ha ha, ha ha
