Default Avoiding Texas Title Fees (Gift option)

Has anyone used the Gift option on the 130-U form from the DMV?

http://www.texasara.com/newsletter/VTR130U.pdf

I bought my 350z recently and I'm not excited to pay the 6.25% Tax fee. I've heard of people using the Gift option but I'm afraid of any laws that prohibit that. Of course I'll need the signature of the seller which I don't think will be a problem since he was pretty cool.

Any thing I should be worried or concerned about before turning in the form to the Texas tax assessors office?

Thanks

Just pay the fees. It is not worth getting caught. Besides its breaking the law.
