Default Nismo done deal...

I posted this in the Nismo forum but wanted to let you all know I just closed a deal on a new (232 miles) 08 Nismo Silver Alloy with all the mats and cargo nets and such for $27,777.00 from a dealer in AR. When I get it titled in Jersey it will be $29,800.00 done.. I think this is a very agressive deal. I noticed on the order that he had a $2500 incentive.. I assume from Nissan. Hope this helps someone out.. Cannot wait for my 20 hour drive home..

Yea it is a great deal.. I have been waiting for some time.. I usually buy cars at this time of year.. That along with the other issues in the world seems to have gone my way..

Yes I am going to drive it back.. Should be a nice drive.. I am also planning a route that will assist with break in.. Kentucky and Tenn are beautiful so I plan on some secondary roads and such.. I am in no hurry..

Wow, that's a great deal.

But I'd have that car shipped home.

I would love to ship it but Ark. has a law that you MUST sign the papers and exchange cash in person.. this is very odd but if that is the way it is thats fine.. Since I have to fly out I may as well just drive it back.. I hear ya I would rather ship it but..... I am going to go via Myrtle Beach and play a round or 2 anyway..

Congrats! A great deal, you might want to have the Clear Bra installed before you drive it back, actually the Spray On product is better (I heard). otherwise you will definitely have little dents and scratches on your hood and front bumper.
I use to live in AR, when I attended the U of A in Fayetteville, man there are a lot of steep hills there definitely makes driving manual a challenge.

A road trip is just a lot more fun than having it shipped. These cars are meant to be driven out on the road, not in your typical urban traffic that we are usually stuck in. Take advantage of the opportunity and enjoy the ride.

Cool. Listen the guy who did my clear bra is in ATL. Sounds like you might be in the area on your trip. Give him a buzz. He does great work and has done at least two Nismo 350Z's. See contact info below:

Tell Derek I sent you. Derek's contact email is:

Refer to jmark's link and contact information about Derek with Atlanta Protective Films, he does excellent work.

jmark, Derek mentioned that mine was the second Nismo he has done, yours being the first.

Derek drove over from Atlanta to N.Alabama (about 3.5-4 hrs) last Saturday and installed the Xpel film in my garage. He installed the bikini hood cut, front bumper, front lip, headlights and mirrors for $675. This took him about 4-4.5 hrs to install. If he does a mobile service he charges $1/mile one way, which cost me $190 for travel. Total cost $865, which he did not charge me taxes on the material because I was located out-of-state. Again, I highly recommend Derek, he's a prefectionist, which I like about him!

It will take me all day Sat. to get to atlanta. he would have to install on Sunday.. I will send him an E-mail and see... Thanks for the contact.. While the material is critical so is the install quality.

As a stop gap I am going to see if the dealer has some of that white shipping film. I will just cover the front with that. Or blue tape.. Going to be a great look.. LOL.. I will figure it out..

^ Get the blue painters tape to get you to ATL. I would give him a call and see if he can do it on Sunday.

Just curious. Did you get your car at Landers-McCarty in Springdale?

Also, the blue tape is available at any Lowe's, Home Depot, Walmart, etc. It is Painter's Tape.

CongratZ on the great deal!!

232 miles?

Is that typical for a new car?

Just curious... not trying to take away from your deal.
