Cool. I really appreciate all this information. It's almost overwhelming. I really don't plan on putting down more than $500. I didn't plan on any at first but I guess I may have to.

Just to let you know, they'll do what they call a bump. You'll hear this, "500 up to..." and then you'll blurt out some number, that's the number they'll write down. One thing you should know, if you stick to your guns on the 500 they'll say can you possibly give me another blah blah amount in a week or two weeks. Then they'll go in a speech of how the more you put down the less your monthly payments will be. Give you some astronomical number then you have to negotiate them down from that.

If you plan on being on the loan yourself, I suggest you go through a credit union, because right now, I'm thinking you'll be at a pretty high APR by yourself.

Good luck.

my biggest question is the one I keep getting different answers to. Does my wife co-signing with a score of 750+ help me get that apr?

I ended up selling my max for $7000 and paid off the rest of the loan. Then I went to Phiilly and got a Black '04 G35 6MT coupe for $16k. with 27k miles on it. Every option. I needed the back seat so I couldn't get the Z. All my Z friends won't let me live it down but hey...It's almost the same car.

Got Testpipes, X02, Ztube
