Default Questions on buying a "new" Nismo Z

My local dealer has had a 2008 Nismo Z on their lot since new. It has just under 1000 miles on it (half were because it was driven, not transported from NY to MA.)

The asking price has dropped considerably the past 2 months, to $29,990
I think thats a fair price BUT....

I had a connection at the dealer, that sent my pics and informed me the car was in an accident. WHILE PARKED AT THE LOT, a dump truck backed into it, and most of the front was replaced. The estimate I saw was around $9,000 to repair. It included both headlights, bumper, a wheel, etc. Two wheels were replaced, bother are included, and barely scuffed. I wouldn't have noticed in purchasing the car. It was very hard to tell it had been repaired (I've worked as an auto body tech, and looked it over).

So my question is, is the asking price of $29,990 a fair price, considering the car has been repaired? It is still "new", because it hasn't been registered/sold.

When I went last month to inquire about it, they told me $34,560....down from the sticker of $39xxx. After talking, they dropped to $31,000....As i told them, if I'm spending that much, or close to it, I'd buy a new 370z touring they have on the lot for $31xxx.

hmm that is a tuffy. i would ask for 26 to 27k for the car. Also try to tell the seller you kinda know about the z being in a parked accident but be sneaky about it. Maybe the seller will have guilt and lower it for ya.
