Should I?
I found a 2004 Nissan 350Z Touring. It's a 6-speed manual, red, with black/red aftermarket wheels, CAI, and an Alpine stereo head unit. It's priced at $10,900. It has a clean carfax and is in great condition both aesthetically and mechanically. The only thing is that it has 99,879 miles. It's still priced well under the blue book value.
I know there have been multiple threads discussing the reliability of Zs, but I was wondering if you guys were in my shoes would you take that deal?

I have been looking at 2003-2004 350z prices daily for a few months now. You can find one with much lower mileage if you are patient enough. I think waiting would be worth it.
I am planning on buying one towards the end of the summer. Hopefully a 2003-2004 with 60-70k miles for around $11,000. And from what I have seen its definitely possible.

A vehicle with 100,000 miles will require more upkeep than one with 50,000 miles. You will pay a premium for the vehicle with 50,000 miles, but less for maintenance.
So pay now (price) or pay later (maintenance costs). There is no free lunch.

far better to spend now and have years w no issues than struggle w repairs in the first year. give yourself time to get ahead again and get used to the payment.
buy closer to 50k as possible. very possible for 12k

in my area all you get for upto 12,500 dollars are 2003 models. I just recently saw one with 61k miles. It was a manual black one too. I woulda bought it if I had the money now.
So what we are all saying is wait for one with lower miles.

Although the Z is known to have a long life, I would personally save up a little more and keep searching.
