Default Selling on eBay

Not sure if this is the right place to post, if not please move.

I have sold two vehicles on eBay before but not for more then $3,000.

Should I be weary of cashiers checks? Because I know they are given by a financial institution and "should be" safe.

Thanks for the insight. And for the previous vehicles, I had one as a wire transfer and the other cash.

Do not accept cashiers checks. Easily forged.

Wait 72hrs on wire transfers also. They can be reversed.

A cashiers check is like any other check: its just a piece of paper until it is cleared and credited to your account. Not until then is it "money."
