Default Please help me decide

I just recently turned 17, and I'm looking for my first car to take to college. I've been reading about the DE and HR engine and I'm wondering if it makes a different for daily driving? Also I found this http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...ywordsfyc=____ but not sure if this is a good deal.

I also found this on the their website with a different price. Weird http://www.maximumautooutlet.com/NAS...%20PARK-VA.nas

the black 06 has a cleean carfax. 2 previous owners.

looks to be a pretty decent deal especially with the BBS's.

im not the type to make younger generations steer clear from sports cars. if you think you're mature enough for one and can afford the maintenance and insurance, go for it.

I've read on it, and apparently it only happens with manuals. This is an automatic. Can anyone confirm this?

Just as a reminder...

8.) MEANINGLESS POSTS
Do not post any meaningless, roll call posts, or any posts that is a waste of server resources and bandwidth. They are not allowed and will result in your post count being set to zero and the possibility your account being banned. Select forums (i.e. Anything Goes) and select threads may be alloted for "post whoring," but the posts from such threads will (and the threads themselves may) be purged from time to time.
Let's stay on topic.

Are you or your parents paying for the car, gas, and insurance?

Z's don't get great mpg and insurance will be very high for you.

Never heard of HRs burning oil or being "slower" than DEs stock v. stock.

In fact, DEs are known to burn oil and HRs are faster stock v. stock as determined by physics and whatnot.

Worst advice ever. I've never had a problem with oil consumption and the HR is a much better motor IMO.
