Default CarFax quesiton

I'm looking at buying a 350z and found a good one,at the trim I wanted, at a very reasonable price.

However, I ran the CarFax and ran into something that kind of set off an alarm. It looks like the previous owner used his used his warranty power a little. There is one thing on the CarFax report that shows that the "Transmission was removed for repair". Not being very mechanically inclined much, I have no clue as to why they would remove the transmission for repair. Why would they do this in the first place? No accident was reported on the car on the report, so what gives?

Here is the Carfax report :CARFAX Vehicle History Report on JN1BZ34E78M750024

Thanks!

A few Z's had tranny issues so it wasn't uncommon for them to have the transmission replaced by Nissan fully covered under the warrenty. As long as there are no other problems and you can tell that the tranny problem was resolved by Nissan mechanics, I don't think it would be an issue. Happy hunting and when you buy one, upload pics!

“Transmission was removed for repair" is self-explanatory isn't it?
