So, I am trying to sell my 2003 350z but am having difficulties because a possible clerical error from the DMV. I bought the 350z with 37,048 miles on it (as reported by the dealer) and when I registered the vehicle somehow the report shows 30,245 (was a month later). The only thing I can think of is that this was a clerical error by the DMV or Inspector when they were entering the mileage. Below is a link to the autocheck which shows what I am talking about. My question is, is this possible to get fixed? I tried going to the DMV and the (dumbass) lady wasn't sure what she could do to fix it. I thought id ask you guys and see if there is anything I can do. Thanks

so, just went to the dmv (fml) and they said that it wasnt their error. Apparently when I took it in to the dealer to get serviced, they must have written the wrong mileage. Waiting to here back from the dealer. PITA

 

Mileage appears on the title in Ohio - don't know what the dealer, a month later, had to do with it. And why would this get in the way of selling the car? Am I missing something here?
