buying out of state question
I've bought a few cars over the last few years out of state but they were $2-3k cars that I took a chance on that everything mechanically would be okay after lots of conversations with the seller/dealer.
However I would like to get an independent mechanic to look at this 350Z I might buy and I'm not sure how to go about getting one out of state to look at the car.
Any advice would be appreciated.

I found a good one on Yelp!
Made a deal by phone, planned to be picked up at airport, if car passed MY visual inspection, planned to take to mechanic for evaluation, then close the deal.
Looked up Independant Nissan Mechanic and several places came up.
Called 2 or 3 of the ones that had dozens of positive reviews, and found one that was open on Saturday and could get me in.
I was really happy with the garage I found.
Good luck!
