Default 2003 350z touring 12.5k

Im 21 years old, just finished paying off my acura rsx and im going to sell it for 6000$ and use that for a down payment. Im a college student but work my *** off making 13$ an hour i found a 2003 silver 350z touring with 74k miles is that a good deal? Yes i know the 2007+ is faster but im coming from a 160hp rsx and any Z will be worlds apart! i just want a Z while im in college should i expect it to last me?

I'd KBB it. That sounds too high to me.. It would have to me in almost perfect condition. But it might just be me.
My 03' Kelley blue booked for 7k and some change. And I talked the seller down to 7. (03 base 130k miles)

Its kbb'd at 13,100. If you could get it for 11.5 or 12k I think it would be a good deal. As long as you don't rag on it, it should last; along with performing proper maintenance. There are threads on here with cars that go well over 100k miles, there are also many that go past 150k.

With 74,000 miles, you still have plenty of good miles ahead. The VQ is no stranger to lasting upwards to 200k+ when maintained properly. As for the price, it all depends on location. $12,000 seems a bit high -- I would offer $10,500 and go from there.

Good luck.

Look for the common problems on the car and use them to talk the price down.

Paint chips, suspension bushings, windshield corner seals, tire wear, hatch cylinders. It also wouldn't hurt to have a trusted mechanic look it over if the seller is willing, and if they aren't, that's a red flag.
