Default Looking to get into a 08 Nismo

hello everyone! I was looking to get into a Nismo, to me the are just sexy. Looking around, I found one in Fort Worth not to far away, would the 21k asking price be fair for a Nismo with 51k mile? I don't really know alot about Z's, but I do know i would love to get one. Any recommendations would be helpful =))) Thank you so much for any and all help =))))

Hmmm, that actually looks like a very nice car. if I were closer, you might have a competing buyer. Definitely give it a look.

it has a free carfax, i pulled it and it's clean. no, nothing wrong with it. i just wanted to make sure it's a fair price. I was going to offer 22k as a walking out the door price, but idk if that's fair or too much?

You have to make an appointment to test drive? Anyways be weary some dealers like to play that bait and switch game. Call them on the day of to see if they car is still there before you make the trip and waste your time.

ok...well...i'm drinking a beer as i'm typing this. today i went to see that beautiful 08 nismo z. as i got closer and looked at it, found out the body kit was cracked, and destroyed from the underneath, the left reflector was broken in pieces, and on top of that it looked like someone tried to repaint....that's how bad the paint was..and their wasn't a plaque to identify the #(later found out it was 839). i had to argue since the dealership didn't believe me that is was supposed to have a plaque...then i tried to negotiate and they didn't move...so needless to say i walked. it was a gorgeous car that needed some love. it's a shame the dealership and other owners before it doesn't treat it better =(((

You did the right thing. Wait to get the right car, as there really are others out there, and first impressions are often correct. Good luck with your search.

Yeah I wouldn't buy that either. You can tell if the previous owner took care and loved the car, things like that wouldn't be there.

It's odd there was no plaque. Mainly because it pops into a hole and costs about $300. All the nismos are rare and I wish I could've afforded one but I still have my dream car, a touring 350z

so...just got a call back from the dealership wanted to know my how i felt about the price of 21k OTD. I told them how much a new front bumper would cost to put on (since the one on it was cracked and the reflectors were busted) since i would have to put a new one on, and told them they were to high, i said 19k OTD. i also said you would have to get a plaque for it since it didn't have one. of course the car has been sitting for 3 months on the lot, so they told me they will see what they can do.....guess we will see what they can do..

Yeah they like to play games. Sounds like this dealer is no exception..

They will come back and say 20k otd. I would pass all together because it's a large investment and it's been sitting for 3 months for a reason.

Nismos are rare and unless they make it 100% perfect I wouldn't buy
