Default Need Big Help Buying 350z...

Just went to Nissan dealer and saw 4 Zs on the lot. They are all 03 models (2 Track, 1 Touring w/Nav, 1 Enthu.) and they are all NEW!!!

Anyway, I can get the Track model for $30k (MSRP $34965) or Enthu model for $24,700 (MSRP $29,164). Seem pretty good numbers to me but is it worth it or should I spend more to go with 04 model? From what I have observed, 04's have less problems with feathering and transmission, no?

Any inputs would be appreciated....I need a car and need it within a month.

Thanks.

30,000 for a BRAND NEW TRACK. That is a hell of a deal. So what it's not an 04, it's brand new! Even if you have any of the issues that hit some, not all 03's you can have it fixed under warranty and save 4 grand.

Get it and you'll have no regrets

They are probably late builds in the model year which means very few problems. Mine was built 03/03 and the only issue I've had was the window grease. Oh, If any of them are Brickyards, I'd get that one. My guess is they're all either a CS or SS.

What is the touring going for?

The Enthu model was red and both 2 Track and Touring was Chrome Silver. The MSRP of the Touring w/Nav was $37,~~ and it would be safe to assume similar savings (~$4-4.5k). From the Price point, the Enthu model probable serves me the best but I just keep thinking about the Track. Can you justify $5500 to go to Track from Enthu?

I passed on the 03 black base for $22,500 with 13k miles on it not too long ago from my friend. I guess the red enthu at the dealership isn't so bad for $2k more with no miles on it. right?

Any of the 4 is a buy at the prices you quoted; just go with the one that "floats your boat' the most.

I guess I'll go with Enthu model.....red color is really not for me but I can live with it......I know I am jumping into a car that has potential problems down the road with tires but I just can't resist the 350z. Hope I am making a right decision.

Anyone who is looking for a Track model, they still have 2 remaining at price of $29,990 brand NEW~

The only reason I would look for an 03 is if they had a Brickyard available, in whatever trim. Before I bought my 04.5 Z I was seriously considering an 03 Touring Brickyard but the fact that they were charging $36,500 for it made me go with ol' B17. I love the color of my car but Brickyard is just the most beautiful color they ever slapped on a Z. It truely is my favorite color Z and Ive even thought of getting my car painted Brickyard ahahaha With a Nismo spoiler, and BlueBatmobiles smoked overlays the car looks just gorgeous.
