Default Bakersfield, CA Meet?

Hey guys, I tried using the search function before making this thread but the few that I found were pretty dead (2008-2009). So in Bakersfield, I have noticed that there are tons of 350Z's (or so it seems) and they have mods and stuff done to them so I assume that they would be interested in a meet. If anyone is in the Bakersfield area and is interested in having a meet/cruise let's discuss dates and locations on this thread?

you are right! up north, Modesto way, the same situation exists. I'm a area rep w/ ZONC and we're trying to revitalize the valley region as well. Lots of Zs & Gs . there are a lot of clubs out there. I believe Central Valley Z is active covering Bakersfield. They are up in Fresno and region and are pretty active. check out their website.
Keep up the effort

oh yeah..... http://www.centralvalleyz.org

Thanks! Yeah I stumbled across the central valley Z club but it seems pretty dead.. I'll search around a little more and see if they're still active

Cool Every good deed takes effort and patience

Sounds like you might be able to then bring some revitalization, new life & spark into the group as we ae doing up north. It only takes one to get thing moving again. Also the hard economic times we all are in could be slowing down things. Offer to set up a run through their site and see if you get any takers. We do this up here and it does take some minor effort. The turnouts are worth it though. usually about 50% actually do show but the conversations do get started. Good luck. Also, 1 of the things I am doing is making new flyers for posting and hanging up at local starbucks and other places. This also works in getting thing moving. check out http://www.zonc.org
