Default I need to create a package for a SB

Ok ive been detailing cars for a couple years the took a couple years off and all of a sudden all these new products came out. ONe thing is ive never had a car harder to clean without harming the paint(swirls scratches etc).

So im wondering if someone could give me a complete list of what they do including the materials used to apply. It would be greatlye appreciated i have minor swirls and cant get them out of this car for some reason THANKS!!

I just did this on my brand new SB.

Need:
Microfiber towels, lots of them.
Some kind of mass water absorber.
A towel called blue something that people use here, just like a water absorbing one.
Meguire's NXT Tech Wax (comes with wax applicator).
Mothers Clay Bar.
Dawn Soap (original, blue one)
Rain X for windows.
Clean buckets.
Mitt for washing car.
Mitt for washing wheels.
Wheel cleaner, forgot the brand. There's a few.
Turtle Wax tire foam and some kind of applicator, doesn't have to be fancy.

1.) So first I cleaned the wheels with the wheel cleaner and the mitt just for wheels.

2.) Use the Dawn soap to wash your car with the car only mitt. Be sure the bucket is CLEAN along with the mitt. Rinse. Dry as carefully and quickly as you can. I open the trunk and hood and doors so I can get all the sills too. Some people even go as far as using a shop vac to suck all the water in the hard to get places out.

*Here, I usually drive around the neighborhood rather quickly to get any water that is stuck to drip out.

3.) Clay bar the car with the Mothers Clay Bar. Be sure to use some kind of lubricant. Some people use the Zaino something mixed with water. I used water.

4.) Here, you can do some kind of polish if you want. My car was new, so I went straight for the NXT wax. Apply with provided applicator. I usually apply the first half of the car. Let it set, and then remove. Use one set of towels for wiping the main part off. Then another set for the final removal part. I use only linear motions (as opposed to circular) because I heard somewhere this is better. The NXT Tech Wax is a very deep shine. Supposedly they help to hide/remove swirl marks, but I think most other people use a separate thing for that.

5.) Use the Rain X on your windows.

6.) Maybe some kind of wheel polish here. Then use the Turtle Wax tire foam on the tires.

If you're obsessive like me, you can get some kind of metal polisher/cleaner for your exhaust. Maybe even the door handles.

Good luck. Try not to do it on a day that's too dusty, or too hot. I try not to have driven for a while before I start so that the hood, brakes, etc are not hot. I actually just started to detail cars last Sept. when I got the G35c, so I'm sure there may be better methods, or complete mistakes in my procedure. So far it's worked for me though!

Or you can look up "Dr Bonz Zaino"... Which is fail safe. I've never tried Zaino myself. But I'm only 17 years old so... Someday.

Here is what I just did on my new Super Black Touring. Its a 2003 and had seen its fair share of swirls from the prior owner and dealer. I used a Porter Cable (PC) orbital buffer to get alot of the marring out.

Here was my complete process..

Wash with Quick and Easy Wash (was kinda cold out)
Clay with Clay Magic Bar
Megs #83 Dual Action Cleaner Polish with Megs 8006 pad
Vanilla Moose with Lake Country Finishing Pad
Poorboys EX-P Plus
Pakshak micro fiber bonnets on PC for removal
Pakshak Waffle Weaves and Ultra fines used for drying and final wipe down.
Clearkote Quickshine Quick Detailer
NXT Tech Protectorant on interior
Eagle One Wet for Tires with EO Tire Swipe
