Default Zaino Z-2 PRO

As Kevin Overall hinted at in a post recently, there is a new Zaino formula available.

Check out the press release by Sal Zaino:

http://www.zainostore.com/Merchant2/...egory_Code=PRO

The old Z-2 is no longer listed among the products so this appears to be a replacement. Can't wait to give it a try but unfortunately, I've got a new, unopened bottle of the old Z-2 to go through before I get the new formula.

I got to test it out before its release, it gives an even better shine, reflection and depth. It dries quicker and is more durable. Side by side you can tell the difference. It is definitely an improvement. Hard to believe it just keeps getting better and better. Thanks Sal!!!!

Is the new polish also made from silicone. I am hoping that they switched it so that it allows one to repaint if needed (hopefully that will never be though)

Why would using Zaino (or any other polish/wax) prevent you from repainting your car???

Sal Zaino was a professional car painter for years, his products do not contain DMS. He does not make any product that would interfere with painting or repainting any body panels and never has. No painter in his right mind however would try to paint over a waxed or polished surface, no matter what kind of wax or polish you use, it will be long, long gone before any kind of body work will start..............

The product does contain silicone because a friend of mine had it tested at our laboratory. So contrary to what you said. I know better.

Look I am not out to bad mouth any product. Some people here think that I was. Why I don't know. As stated in the other thread I use this product and continue to us it. I don't know why people get so jumpy in here.

I spoke to Sal Zaino personally today and based on our conversation and the instrumentation used I retract what I said. The items are not silicone.

Hopefully through our conversation Sal can be a benefit us in fighting criminal matters, can be called when needed and that there are no hard feelings. Sal is a very nice gentleman, and if I know they had a phone number to call I would have done so. I learned a lot about his product today and thanks. After talking quite extensively with him let it be known that the product is quite sophisticated and state-of-the-art.

Thanks again Sal and Dave for giving me the chance to talk to him.

I also asked that this thread be stopped or deleted so that people don't read into this the wrong way.
