About two days ago, I noticed some strange "gunk" on my car. Tonight, I remembered about it and decided to rub it off with soap and water. After that, I noticed that where the gunk was on my car, there are now dull color streaks. It looks bad because the rest of the hood is shiny silver, but I have these three dull spots on it now.


Any ideas/suggestions on how to "un-dull" the spots?

 

try some clay and then use some polish. you can try meguires scratch X if you don't have a machine.
