These are the steps I will be going to do tomorrow when I clean my car. I use to use Zaino, but switched back to Meguiars again because all Zaino does is cover up stuff and not actually fix it.

1. Wash car with NXT Wash
2. Dry car with blower and DF towels
3. Put Step 1 of Meguiars 3 step process on the car (a cleaner)
4. Put a Polish on the car.
5. Put NXT Wax on the car.
6. Finish up with trim and windows

I know I was reading something about using a sealer after putting on the polish, I don't really understand what is a sealer because in Meguiars 3 step deep shine process it has a cleaner, polish, and wax. Is the wax the sealer. I know on mothers website they say the Glaze is the sealer. I am new at this so I wouldn't mind if someone could give me some tips. Thanks

 

Also, paint is in good condition, but has one or two minor sratches on it. Also on the roof of the car there are minor water marks that you can see only if you have a really bright light on it. What will work that meguiars makes that will polish them out by hand? Other then that the paint shines really well and is flawless with the one or two rock chips on my door. Dam, put the clear bra on the front bumper to keep rocks away and they find another place to strike me. Those sneaky rocks.

 

NTX has fillers in it also.

 

Hey! I just did what you are going to do tomorrow.

I just detailed my car today. the first time in ages...used to just wash half-assed since it is always snowing here and salt on the ground.

My goodness, I LOVE meguiar's line of products.

So after i wash the car with meguiar's car soap and dry with a chamois i take it home to do the finishing touches.
I shine the tires with meguiar's tire shine (has a flaming logo on it)
Then my fiancee comes over and the car waits for hours...
I return later to do the 3 step process;
paint cleaner
paint polish
carnauba wax (very different from their gold class line...first time i ever used it.
After buffing it for what seemed like hours...it is beautiful.

I never knew how much paint cleaner and polish could do for a car. I will post up pictures as soon as i can...in a couple of days.
