Thumbs up What Type of wax are you using to maintain your finish ?

I ordered that PPS no wax system for Z roadster it went on great and the instructions said that when I wash it to use spray hose and water, well I am disappointed so far. The site is called: www.neverwax.com

Let me know what you guys think and what you currently use to protect your Z's finish.... Thanks alot

Mike

I just use Mothers synthetic wax because it's so easy and relatively cheap. (A lot of other people here like Zaino--perhaps too much.) Sometimes I use some other brand of touch-up shiner stuff, the fancy looking black one with red cursive writing (yeah, like I remember what all this is called!) because the Mothers type causes too much static electricity.

To wash the car, I take to a self-serve place, do a high pressure rinse, wipe it down, then do a soft water spray so it doesn't leave water spots. 10 minutes, $1, and I get a perfect wash.

But there's a special forum for this...

zaino. 9 layers in the past year (not so impressive compared to the really crazy zainoholics). that stuff is awesome (and smells great).

Zaino, but that's a polish in technical terms. Even though Zaino is a Last Step Product (LSP), I always top it with a nice White Pure Carnuba. Right now I've got PInnacle Souveran ($70 for a jar !). I will be trying Trade Secret and P21S later on...

Porp to enhanced250...I wanna try the Menzerna line soon after seeing some great stuff from IP and FMJ .

if you have a dark colored car and a large wallet you may want to try pinnacle souveran carnuba paste wax (sp?). Its $70 for a small canister of this stuff but i have seen cars with this wax on them and they are AMAZING. For amazing looks and durability, Zaino is the best.
