Default armor all

armor all contributes to browning of the tires and destroys rubber/plastic/vinal after long use, not to mention it always evaporated onto the interior of my windows

Go with Meguiers products, they have a tire gel that will last a month NO JOKE!

I've tried them all and nothing compares.

I'll second the Meguiars. I use the Rubber cleaner they have rather than the tire gel. I've used the tire gel and it works great, but i like an all-purpose so just in case I really need to scrub coke off my dash.

303 Protectant is pretty good and Zaino has a really good tire dressing as well.

If you are a Zaino user definitely try the Z-16 tire gloss.

303 is the best, Zaino is pretty good also, but i think 303 is a tad better.

Meguiars Endrance...eck, I hate that gooey stuff. Looks bad too.

I don't like or Use Armor All either, it can actually discolor certain surfaces.

I like Black Chrome and Wet & Protect Tire Shine

The first is a rub on, the second a spray on. The second is what my Nissan Dealer sells. So if it FUBAR's something it's on them!

Default Armor All - BAD

There are better products out there. Depends on what kind of finish you want. If a nice satin finish is what you want, 303 is great and can be used on your dash and door panels if not leather.

For a shiny finish, I like Eimann Fabrik Black Sapphire Gel. I like the gel because it is thicker than sprays, and wipes on rather than sprays where you get overspray. This stuff wipes on with a small applicator and doesn't sling as long as you put it on thin and let it dry.

Check out Black Sapphire at properautocare.

Brad.. what do you use to apply 303? The bottle PAC gave me I think uses half the bottle in a single squeeze! hehe.

I've been using spray on, and wipe off/rub in with cotton towels.

How long do you let it sit? I usually only let it sit long enough to finish the wheel, and maybe.. a minute after. My tires are still brand new so I don't think it will absorb much.

I apply it with a sponge, f you dont have one a terry cloth will sufcie. Let it sit on the tres for abot 20 min. Do all four tres first, then come back later and bff them with some papertowels.

I use 303 on my tires, applied with a cotton cloth (sprayed on the cloth). Will prolly buy a sponge one of these days.

I like the satin look of the 303, not too shiny like the armor-all stuff.

The Zaino tire gloss looks really good... for about a day. It washes off really easily in the rain. Not durable at all... don't waste your money.

I would go with Meguiars tire gel or Turtlewax tire wax. They last through rain/washes and can be manipulated for a high glossy or low gloss (flat) look.

Step away from the ArmorAll...

I use EagleOne but am in the process of getting Zaino products.
The nice thing about Eagle is that it came with a contoured applicator. It really helps to keep my towels clean :P. Avail at Advanced Auto parts and other car parts stores I'm sure.
