Spots on Paint
I was washing the car today and when done started to dry it off with my usual method of blowing it off with the blower and then using waffle weave towels to get the rest of the water off. When drying with waffle weave towels I noticed spots all over the place. I tried using Zaino Detailer and then switched and tried Meguiars Quick Detailer. Both did nothing but make it worst. Tried claybaring acouple, worked alittle but still there. I was wondering if someone could help me out. I was going to try the method I heard about months ago by taking vinger and water and using it to take off spots on paint but did not want to take chance of ruining paint. I also was wondering if polish or wax will take it off (something by hand). Also, sometimes I get spots on roof of car that are a bronze color. Any help would be helpful. Thanks

Judging by your description it sounds like you have deposits left on the paint. The Vinegar and water mix is very safe and if that doesn't take it off you might have some sort of industrial fallout that has stained the paint to which an abrasive would be the next step.
I would definitely try the vinegar first though.
I've used it before on mine and it works great.
How do you get Industral Fallout on your car. I work at a warehouse that stores foods, but I would'nt think the building puts off any real big pollution. I also park in the back just in case. I hope it is not this because it will take me forever to get off and plus its my only car to drive to work and it will be hard to prevent it.

Pretty much any city that has a large industry base is going to have stuff floating around in the air.
There are a lot of different things the spots could be....from bird crap, to road splatter, to simple water spots. Usually just washing the car once a week will keep these things from sticking. A good protectant on your paint will also make these things come off easier.
Let us know if the vinegar takes the spots off.
Heya johanna1.. got your PM .. but have been a bit slammed. I would def try the claybar route.. I've never done the vinegar trick.. but it does not sound harsh. If those do not work.. then you;ll def need to try a MILD abrasive polish. If you can avoind using any abrasives on your paint to get the stains out.. by all means go there. Use only an polish as a last resort. Also, a the best defense is a good offense.. keep that car waxed!
hope you can get them out.. keep us posted!
g'luck
