Default Parking under a Tree

I just bought my Z like 3 weeks ago today and my apartment requires me to park in a certain space under a tree limb and it is starting to bother me. Its dropping dirt/leaves and a little sap and bird droppings all over it. Not what I had in mind!

I am going to clean it and wax it good for the first time this weekend. Is there any specific wax that might be better than another for dealing with "tree droppings?" I was also thinking about a car cover. How does that work when the Z is not 100% clean? Don't want to scratch it or anything?

I guess most people are fortunate enough to park the Z in a garage where it deserves to be, but I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions. Thanks

I’ve had the Nissan cover for about 8 months now, and its been a godsend. The car is covered whenever I’m no driving. Its water repellent not waterproof: dries quickly. What is it like to put a dirty cover on a clean car? Interesting but dirt on the inside of the cover doesn't transfer to the paint. A week after washing, the car remains clean except for the front wheels. Definitely recommended.

First clay-bar it to get all the sap, crap and other ish off the paint. Then hit it with the Zaino system or GOOD wax of your choice. A cover would be good...just make sure you keep the car clean and waxed when using a cover as any dirt/dust could be a possible scratch when putting on or taking off the cover.
