Default Chrome Silver Z & Zaino?

Hello all,

I have a Chrome Silver Enthusiast, and plan on washing it by hand for the first time (took it to the car wash..hope that's not a cardinal sin), and have read about Zaino.

All I know that it's a great wax, but don't know where to start. I have read that I should wash the car with dish washing soap (?) and then apply the Zaino?

If anyone has a chrome silver and can help a car wash newb like me out a little, please PM me..I would really appreciate the help. Thanks for reading.

Welcome Brooklyn,

I first want to say nice color. Since there is no depth like black. I would also check out the klasse twins. Both of those products will polish that color to a nice high gloss.

Default My take...

Zaino is great !!!

I too have a CS 350Z...and so far, only 3 coats of Zaino.

Here is what I did.

A couple days after I got back from the dealership:

Washed with Dawn Dish liquid, dried with soft 100% cotton white towels

Then...

1 coat of Z1
applied Z2 with ZFX over top of Z1
Wiped off with 100% cotton white towel
Applied 1 coat of Z6

Waited 1 week, then...
Washed with Z7
Applied Z6
Applied Z2 with ZFX
Wiped
Applied Z6

Waited 2 weeks, then...
Washed with Z7
Applied Z2 with ZFX
Wiped
Applied Z6

It looks amazing...if you can get past the loads of orange peel...but much glossier than when I picked it up. When it warms up a few degrees, I will apply another coat of Z2.

I would not recommend waxing with Zaino in temps under 45 degrees, as it takes a long time to cure, even with the zfx flash cure. I think Zaino says 50 degrees...

Good luck, and you won't be disappointed...

By the way Zaino's tire gloss is good stuff too, a little more expensive, but it last for over a week, and doesn't fly off as you drive, even if you drive fast...

No it doesn't! I loved the tire gloss.

I got the leather treatment as well and it works great.

In the Guru Report, a test of 40+ car care products, Zaino came in first in synthetics AND overall. There is a reason.

Damn-it Kevin! Don't start this crap again with Zaino and it coming in first with the gurureport. I did told you once and I'll tell you again.

For all others, Zaino is a good product! Rock on!
