Default Who needs Zaino? WAX-flections!

Ok, so we've all heard/seen the zaino shine stories.

Well, since I have a super black, I decided to stick with traditional wax.. at least for now.

Today was the first nice day here in what seems like months.. so I took the day off from work and made it a car day

Washed, dried, broken in the new porter cable with a 3M swirl remover session, followed by a coat of blitz wax.

Now the shine is as good as any zaino pictures I've seen.. or seen in person. Unfortunatly by the time I finished, it was night, and I was in my garage. My old digital camera can not do CRAP in low light.. so the pictures really suffered from that.

So here goes...

reflection near Z emblem

and of course.. what reflection session is complete with out an attempt to show yourself. Again, the lighting kills this shot.. if it weren't for orange peel, you could shave to this..

Of course the BEST things about Zaino besides a great shine is its durability and the protection it provides. You can definitely get a great shine from wax too, even with furniture polish, if that is all you want.

Yes.. we all know about the durability of waxes vs sealants.. but it also seems to get lost the 'performance' of waxes.

Outside shots coming soon.. took some before left for work

Looks nice, but I think I'm going to drop the bomb on 100 dollars worth of Zaino and am going to go to town.

Ok, I know my camera is crap in low light (heck.. anything but daylight), so I took a few shots before leaving for work.

Here goes..

Reshoot of the Z logo

And lastly... the real winner... the latest 'me' reflection This is a shot looking into the driver's door. No smoke.. just wax mirrors

Very Nice!!! I always feel good when I see a clean car. I might just cry...

Your Z looks great. I saved your roof shot to my background on my computer.

don't make the zaino guys get jaded!! ;-)

Looks great!!! re-waxing is hardly a drop in the bucket when you think about it. Especially compared to us who layer on the non-waxes. I really like that "me" shot... the car is very reflective!!
