Waxing Volks?!?!
I have Volks coming in tomorrow
What wax is the best for keeping the lip shiney? I have heard that some waxes will strip the clear coat and ruin the lip.
I usually use Zymol / P21S on my "G". Would P21S be safe on the Volks?
Thanks!

Any wax shouldn't strip or cause any damage to the rims. ( don't use a wheel polish on new rims it could discolor or be to rough on the rims finish) I would recommend you get a wax that has very tough properties to extend the life of protection. I bought WheelWax for the stock 18's ( tourning ) and the brake dust just whipes away.

I got a tub of WheelWax also. It's one of the few products I could find that is safe for the polished lips on Volks. But their polish is not safe, just the WheelWax itself. Whatever you buy, make sure you read VERY CAREFULLY. Many of the products I looked at weren't safe for clearcoat. And don't use any polishes or cleaners on the wheels. Just wash them with car wash soap and water, and then put the wax you choose on.
