Default How are your tips?

When we first picked up the 350z It had the typical looking exhaust that looks varnished, almost aluminized. My girl was saddened by the look and we started looking into catbacks but the only sound that suited her was the $$ nismo. After a few carwashes at a detail shop I asked her to let me give it a shot and voila! BLING. She often gets asked what aftermarket catback she has because it is so shiny it reflects from 200 feet away.

It saddens me how nasty 95 percent of the z/g35/moronos exhaust tips look. They dont look like this off the showroom floor right!? then why let them get that way.

A little never dull rubbing polish and you will have the outside and inside looking great.

Shame on you if you fall into the 95% category, as I hope no one here does.

For a quick clean, I use Honda's motorcycle spray for chrome. A good, quick cleaner / wax.

I use a microfibre towel for my exhaust tips as well as the paint. They are jsut as important.

I always clean the tips of the Injen straights including the mufflers. This November is going to be 4yrs since I picked her up. People ask me if its a 06 model.

Mine look like new! I use 'Autosol', even takes away the carbon on the inside of the tips.

soda pop + aluminum foil for clenaing. Better than any cleaning agent i've ever used. Polish w/ regular wax.
