Question The best way to not only prevent swirl marks but not get them at all...

My last car I did what I could to prevent swirl marks but I ended up still getting them. I now have my Z and I have only used a sprayer to rinse it off. I havn't washed it yet for fear of swirl marks. I ordered a california water blade and the New Car kit from Blackfire. Anything else I should get for the washing part?

Get a leaf blower and forget the waterblade.

But what will get rid of swirls once you have them? I seemed to do everything by the book, and still have light swirls on my SB. I used the entire zaino system, with MF aplicators.

You definitely need a gentle touch. You also want to use 100% cotton towels and wash mitts. I also use an electric leaf blower to dry off the car.

Kevin, should I just keep layering on Z5 to hide the swirls? I am using made in usa 100% cotton towels and a MF wash mit. Thanks

to my understanding, there's no way you can have zero swirl mark, you can only reduce it by extreme care, but micro size dirt can still stay on whatever the high end type of washing medium you have.........

The Z-5 will gradually fill in all the swirls, thanks to its layering ability. The worse the swirls the more coast it will take. But Kevex is right there is no way no matter what you do will get rid of them 100%, due to the wind, dust in the air, pollen etc. But you can get them to where it is near impossible to see them. With really good supplies and technique and with Zaino having a harder finish than anything else I've used in over 35 years, you can get it as close to perfect as possible.
