Default *** Detailing Dynamics Day ***

*** Update ***

For those that don't know I had recently done some minor body work. The body shop owner said for an extra 100.00 I will detail it for you. Which I was OK with. Of course I pick it up @ dusk while it's raining.... I stopped to get gas. The bright florecent light uncovered the hidious swirl marks, It looked as if the paint were burnt from the wheel... This is when I finally made an appointment with Matt @ Detailing Dynamics When he got the car in, under ther florecent tubes. He described it " It looked like the car had a holigram all over it" I wish had pic of it before in his shop.

The first pic is during the cleaning process, the last three are the finished product.

He did an awesome job!

Unfortunately, hologramming at the hands of a body shop is a sad but all too common happening; too much of a rush to push a car out I guess.

I agree after talking to Matt... Most of ther customer have the body work strickly do the paint only... They take it over from there... And the new Ferraris un preped with the protective film all over the car. Their typical customer won't allow the dealer to touch the car!

I did the same. I had the dealer write on the order form that I will accept the car in ANY physical shape as long as there's no damage and that they must NOT touch it upon arrival. Then I nagged the hell out of my salesman in the week before the car's arrival reminding him of the same.

It looked like this when I brought it home, minus the bumper protecting foam pieces I had removed by then:

As far cost... There are a little more than most. But the car was there for two days, actually it's still there cause it's been raining here in the NE... Is it worth it... Well you see the pics... I've had 4 different people detail my car prior to this, while 3 out of the 4 gave me good results (4th hacked up my paint Body Shop), the first were no differant than me spending a day on it with my Porter Cable, Menzurna Polishes, and Zaino... I still would be left with some very very minor swirls...

They produce their own products check out the website www.detailingdynamics.com

They make everything.... One of things I hate about a leather rapped steering wheel is after a while they get shinny, from the oil from our hands.

He used one of their chemicals... And he made it look like a brand new MATTE finish OEM wheel!

If you noticed they are not big on shinny tire gel... The use there own product that cleans the tire real well and leaves a delicate sheen on the tire...

Same with the leather it looks like it's conditioned, with very little shine on the surface.

WIsh I could find a place like that here in Austin,. They make the car show ready. You could go straight to SEMA after a detail that good.

I also hate leather cleaning my steering wheels. Its so sticky and gross. I looked on there website for the leather cleaner but its not on there.

That is so amazing! I wish I could see the before pics. I just had mine done with Xzilon here at a dealership and I wasn't that impressed. I'm still looking for the ultimate shine for my black beauty. I have even taking it off the streets til spring. to take it even further I have invested in Zaino. Black is beautiful when you stand out from the rest. The rims are what I have been looking at myself. volks or Work. have made my decision yet. like to see some in person. that makes all the difference. beautiful, just beautiful!! Keep it up.
