Detailing: Griot's Coupon Code 15DW7
Somebody posted a few days ago about how to start detailing and I wanted to throw my two cents in.
I have a CS '03 350Z and 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee V8. The Z is covered and stored in a heated garage in the winter and my Jeep which is 7 years old looks brand new. I've tried Blue Magic and Meguiar's products. But the best I've found is Griot's Garage. I see some people on here use it, which is a nice surprise.
They screwed up an order so I got a coupon for 15% off any order until 1-26-07 coupon code is 15DW7. If any newcomers to detailing are interested, get their clay bar detailing kit w/ speed shine and microfiber towels, DA polisher with polish w/ 3 or 4 orange pads and no. 3, 4 polisher and Best of Show Wax get the Polish DVD if its available. One thing they suck on is polish and wax removal. Just get a random orbiter from Sears for about $40 with cotton bonnets and use the Griot's yellow microfiber towels by hand with speed shine to remove the last bit of polish or wax. If you get serious about detailing order lots of microfiber towels, white for clay bar, winodws and interior, and yellow for polish, I have about 20 each and I just make it through a detailing with that many, I know I got a problem.
Leave the Zaino out, tried it, was not impressed.
