And the Absorber takes up much less space than all those towels Just wring it out a few times along the way.

I've also used the Absorber for several years. Do any of you notice the Absorber does not get the vehicle completely dry? I usually follow up with a cotton towel to get it totally dry. If I don't, I notice the wipe pattern on glass. Maybe I'm just ****.

Not if I use it before, say, the dew point around dusk

It dries the car pretty well, even when a bit humid here. I do do two passes, though. One to get the majority of the water, then a second pass to do the final dry.

Just go to Wal-Mart.

However, the website for the Absorber, strangely enough is www.absorber.com

ZNUTS,

Great system! I like the idea of Eagle Wet before completely cleaning. Good idea!

I use the Water Blade and am quite impressed by its ability to rid of excess water after the wash. I highly recommend it. However, make sure that the car is washed thoroughly prior to using the Water Blade in order to avoid scratches due to dust particles caught under the blade. Also, make sure that you periodically clean the blade's edge during use to remove any dirt or dust build-up.

ZNUTS: The "spray to wipe" works great - I use Zaino Z-6, it helps to bind the water so you can wipe it up without leaving droplets. I don't use the "quick drive" method to get the water out of the hiding places, I use an electric leaf blower instead. It keeps my customers from thinking I'm "joy riding." My Viper would hold about a quart of water in the tail light hollow, but a few quick launches would get it out (if you see a Viper speeding off from a stop, just assume he's drying his car).

I don't know if there is a distributor in your area (I've considered moving back to S. Florida to spread the Zaino news, but my paying job is in Texas). You can call Sal at 732-833-8800 and ask him if there is a local dealer. If not, you can send an order form by mail to Sal. Go to www.zainobros.com to get the order form. For a new Z, I recommend Z-2, Z-6, Z-7, Z-16, Z-18 and ZFX. All of that will cost $80+shipping. If you have a black Z, substitute Z-5 for Z-2 (costs $4 more).

You should NOT use a buffer with Zaino. Buffers waste too much polish (more polish is on the buffer than on your car), and you don't need to heat or buff Zaino for it to work. That means less aggrivation to your car's finish, so it will look good much longer.

If you have any other Zaino questions, feel free to email me.

I have had the Calif. water blade since about the time it came out about 2-3 years ago. I used to use it on my other cars, but I am too worried that it will scratch my Z, so I dont use it anymore. I am more concered the handle on mine will scratch on accident than the rubber blade.

I've always been a fan of the traditional chamois but it is hard work sometimes. I moved to using cotton towels most of the time but after getting into this site I got myself a leaf blower on the weekend. I'd never thought of it before but it works so well - finish off with a towel dry. I love seeing all that water coming out from the wheel nuts but its also the 'hidden' places like the small gaps between the panels and so on. Yes - the neighbors will think I'm crazy but that's nothing new. The look of disbelief on my wife’s face when I told her I bought a leaf blower just for my car was fantastic.

Great fix. You can also cut the protruding edges at an angle.

Waterblade, then take for a quick spin around block.

Get out and use the Absorber to get remaining water.

I'll jump on the absorber band wagon, and the water blade. I just bought a new absorber because I can't seem to find my old one, I think my dad took it.
