CG vs. Zaino, I find this interesting.
As many of you may know, I have been a die hard Zaino addict since '98.
Recently I have tried Crystal Guard and so far I prefer it over Zaino.
I have noticed this over the last few weeks.
My car with CG doesn't collect no where near the dust that Zaino would collect. I find this odd, because Z6 detail spray specifically mentions that it repels dust.
I also saw a wax test someone did where they waxed 1/2 of the hood of a Mercedes ML and went off roading. The part of the hood w/ Zaino was dusty and the other half done w/ Malms was pretty clean.

So it appears Zaino attracts dirt. Thats odd!!!

It may not be the wax you're finding interesting.
Applying wax takes quite a bit of wiping on and wiping off.
This repetitive back and forth motion creates static between the microfiber/rag/towel and the car surface (much like building up static electricity when you drag your feet across the carpet and get electricuted once you touch a metal surface).
Once the final coat of wax is in place, the static left on the surface immediately begins collecting dust floating in the surrounding air. Minutes later, you will find that the entire car is covered in dust--thus the conclusion you have that Zaino (or ANY other wax for that matter) collects more dust.
As I understand it, CG is strictly wipe-on-hose-off type of thing. Thus, saving the repetitive motion typically common with wax applications.
Food for thought.

I still think (IMHO) that there is less buffing w/ CG though. The Zaino leaves those little "bumps" of product around, CG leaves blobs of smears?!?!?!
