Default R U polishing your GT-C's lip?(VOLK GT-C OWNERS)

WEll,.I've had my GT-C's for a few mths now,..and granted they wipe down still pretty good/easy.....but the rear lip as you know dosen't shine quite like new,......--NOW---like my old CBR600 w/ polished wheels....I use to have to Mothers them to death.UNlike Chrome that you can just wipe down.
Is anyone doing that to thier GT-C's....if so how often do you do it? and does it make it shine like new,.Reason for posting this is I'm scared I'll scratch them or mark them up,..call me crazy----but let me know how you guuys clean your "lips"!

you can use the mothers paste polish, OR, I just bought the Mothers metal polish wad (cotton wad with polish on it), every month or so I use it on my wheels to bring up the luster.

I think it is MUCH easier than the Mothers or semi-chrome paste (both of which I use on other products), it is less abrasive

Default Lip cleaning

Hey Collin,
I have used "Wenol" in the past. I have a buddy of mine in Cleveland with an NSX and he uses it . It works awesome and doesn't scratch. He drives his car all year long (assuming the roads are free from Snow, salt etc...) and it protects great. Good luck & see you around Charlotte!!!!!!!

Try Blue Magic metal polish cream, it works wonders on the the polished lips of rims.

Default Wenol.......

"Wenol" is a german product that DaimlerChrysler uses in the Mercedes Plant in Germany. I have two tubes - one is a cleaner and the other is a polish. I'm not sure where to buy it - I got mine directly from Germany. I have seen it in the US though - I will look at the packaging to see if there is a website listed for anybody that is interested.
