The best way to remove hard water marks is with a 50/50 mix of vinegar and water. If that doesn't get them off, try a claybar next. If that fails, the marks have etched the clearcoat/paint and need to be polished out.

"Claybaring" the lips of my GTS' changed my POV on the reality of clay-bar. I had a bit of over-spray on them that could have ruined the finish.

Took my time, washed, clayed each lip, rewashed, dried, and applied a couple of coats of wax... Honestly, I feel that they look even better than they did when I brought them home. Plus I can wipe away dust and grime with ease. Also it appears that the clear-coat / "anodization" (sp?) was not harmed, as the "rainbow" look is still in each of my lips, just like before.

Claybar is a must for removing containments....
