Default Cleaning volk rim lip

Hey guys I have a volk- GTC's for little over a year, and I have not been cleaning the front lip too hard to prevent from scratching (I only cleaned it with little pressure). Now I have brake dust build up on the lip which I can't remove now. Any mild product which could help move the dust? Thanks

you're completely f*ed at this point. The only way is to strip the adonizing off the lip of the wheels then hand polish the lip to a new shine. This will take at least 8 hours or more to do by hand as there is really no machine that can get into those small grooves. If you want you can have a shop take the wheels apart and polish the barrel but this will cost you $$$.

Once it is polished you will have to repolish by hand every month but this time it will be a lot easier.

I would probably use one or more of the following P21S products. The P21S Wheel Gel is safe on any wheel finish and is a great cleaner. The P21S Metal Polishing Soap also works great at cleaning and polishing at the same time. This may be a good product for your situation assuming your wheels are not anodized or painted surfaces (sorry I wasn't sure of the exact composition of the volk- GTC's). If you have deeply embedded stains, brake dust, etc. then I would use the P21S Finish Restorer. This metal polish is great for restoring a deep shine on virtually any metal or clear coated wheel. Let me know if you'd like more information about these products.

I agree, the P21s wheel cleaner is some great stuff indeed.

Brake dust is corrosive. Once it stays on the wheels, it can no longer be removed with soap and water.

Its time for a mild abrasive.
