Default Soap Problem / Soap Suggestion

Will soap remove the clear coating on the car?

If not, what is the best type of soap to use to clean my new Touring?

Do some soaps not react well or leave soap scum or a residue on the car?

Advice appreciated !

Dial or Irish Spring will be fine.

When you said "soap" that's what I thought of.

I use Zaino Z-7 wash. It gets the job done and will not strip off any of your wax/polymer sealant.

Either way, I don't think anything will remove your clear coat short of a sander.

I used to use Z7 along with my Z5 and Z6... but when I ran out I got some Meguiars crystal car wash. Suprisingly it did a BETTER job! Now I use it in combination with the zaino polish and it looks like it has more depth and reflection to it.
