vdc controls engine speed as well as individually brakes wheels to control a skid.

TCS controls engine speed.

not that I know of, maybe nav will, I dont have it, and I guess you dont either.

the "platinum coat" sounds like a dealer sale, typicaly known as a scam for them. there is no "super wax" if there were, we'd ALL be using it. however while we might not know who the BEST is, we know the contenders, and they are zaino, CG, blackfire, all those guys, unlikely that the dealer used anything NEAR this, and even if he did, they wont last forever, longer than regular wax, yeah, but not forever.

if dawn removes it, it was useless to begin with, theyll never know it was removed or not. so if you have a problem with your finish, bring it in. I mean do I have this right? with this package you arent supposed to ever wax your car with anything else again?

as for bugs, you can get some bug remover products, but for the most part its gonna be elbow grease that gets em off. I occasionally bring my nail in on the action for the stubborn ones.

I've found that putting on pledge before you drive on the highway that the bugs come off very easily when returning and washing. Does not harm the finish on the Z.

TCS is only for wheel spin. When you rear wheels slip on accel the TCS cuts fuel to the engine so as to control the wheel spin. It's a street system, so unlike traction control in racecars that aid you in controlling power, this street version is on the restrictive side to prevent wheel spin, not aid lap times. It doesn't slow you down when your going to fast, it just curbs your acceleration until you wheels stop spinning and re-feeds the power in. Most people complain becaue you actualy want 5-10% slippage for maximum speed when racing or launching.

VDC ties all your safety systems togeter. ABS, TCS and a few extra sensors to register steering imput, wheel speed and suspension loads as well as others. VDC kicks in most often when you enter a corner too fast or under adverse road conditions. It will calculate where you want to go vs. where you are going and will apply minute braking and fuel cut or power to move the car towards is intended path. If you enter a corner way too fast and begin to understeer the VDC will kick in and brake the inside wheels minutely (likely won't feel it) and feed power to the rear wheels to help turn the car. If your in a corner and mash the gas TCS will react first to control the rear wheel spin however if you still get the car to step out the VDC will kick in with the ABS to help control the situation.

They aren't perfect but they do their job well. You have to do something pretty stupid to still lose it with these systems on but they can be exceeded.
