Default Help removing Poor Boys Sealant

I have a lot of sealant stuck between my car bra and body. Whats the best way to get it out? Ive even tried my finger nails and that stuff is STUCK!

Also, does Quick Detailer stuff remove wax and sealants?

Thanks!

Your out of luck seriously. You can try micro fiber cloth and run it across that section with some detailer, but I wouldn't use anything else.

dont cut your nails for 3 weeks and try again

I had the same problem with the poorboys wax, I cant fully get it out. But my fingernails have been the best tool so far.

While detailing you should be able to remove the excess product with a clean microfiber towel. I usually pay special attention to this area during the removal process. If it's dry and old wax you may need something a little extra. To remove the old product you can make a mix of rubbing alcohol and water (50/50) mix. Then pour a light amount on a microfiber towel and wipe the desired area. This will strip off all the wax from that area.

Quick detailers are not designed to strip wax. They can help you remove some excess wax during the removal process with a good microfiber towel. Sometimes I'll use a little quick detailer if the excess product is difficult to remove.

Detailing brush, perhaps?

Or a very soft tooth brush.

Just be careful about the paint and keep it at the edge of the clear bra.

I would try some quick detailer first. If that fails, time for a spot clay bar and reseal that area
