Cleaned my engine bay and polished the plenum (pics)
This is a pic after I cleaned the engine like I have seen in a few posts on here. After though I still noticed yellow marks on the intake plenum. I am thinking it must have been factory rust proofing but it didn’t like the look of it.

I removed the rust proofing with STP supper clean degreaser and lots of scrubbing. After removing the rust proofing it looked a lot better but I still noticed some tarnishing marks on the plenum that was bothering me.

So I used a Meguirars metal polish a dermal, lots of scrubbing and 2 hours latter it looked like this.

I have seen some realty nice plenums on here that looked like they were sanded and polished to a mirror finish or chromed but I didn’t want to get into that right now.
