Da door panels....why they are blochy:
So you wonder why the door panels can not be treated with anything....
You've heard it all, Murphy's soap, Vinylex with a terry cloth wax applicator pad applicator pad, 303 aerospace protectant, armorall
, etc, etc....
Bottom line is that if you look very closely (and I mean REALLY closely
, you can see that the material on the door panels is not really uniform throught the door panel when it comes to the height of the round things (whatever you want to call them).
This being said, if you use ANYTHING that is GLOSSY by any means you are gong to have light reflect off of this uneven surface and produce ...... blochyness!!
So, some people claim to get excellent results with NO blochyness, well, all I can figure is that they're in the dark when they are determining this or they have poor vision or they somehow got lucky and got miracle door panels that are not affected by this phenomenon!
Bottom line is that it doesn't appear that you can do anything to avoid this symptom with your door panels.
Not a big deal, the Z is still a KICK A$$ car!!
