Removing wax before attaching Wing
I thought this post might be good since allot of people are buying after market wings. Here is my problem. I'm getting a CF OEM Style wing for my birthday. The wing, like many others goes on with just 3M tape. I was advised to remove the wax from the car so the wing will have a secured footing. My question is what is the best way to remove the wax? I currently have 12 coast of Zanio on my car. Should I wash the back section with Dawn a few times? Do I need to clay bar it to remove any left over wax? Or should I use some sort of solved like "Goof Off" to remove the wax. Please give me your opinions..
