Coming home from Tacoma WA, I got off I5 at exit 5 to get some gas before I crossed into Oregon. (Oregon gas prices are horrid.) As I was filling up our WRX, I saw a light blue G35 across the street at another gas station.

I almost ran across the 4 lane road in heavy traffic when I noticed he was waiting in line for a car wash...

... and it wasn't even a brushless one from what I can tell.

I had to look away when the attendant dunked his brush in a vat of dirty water and started scrubbing the side of the car.

Zaino, CG, 5Star, etc... I think we all know one of the worst things you can do to your paint is take it through a car wash.

 

YOW! That "nice" dirty brush just takes the dust/dirt particles on the car and scrubs them in nicely into the paint job...
