Polish?
I previously had a black car, and I used Meguiar's Deep Crystal Polish. Here are the products I have:
Meguiar's Gold Class Shampoo
Meguiar's Clay Bar
Meguiar's Scratch X
Meguiar's Deep Crystal Polish
Meguiar's Deep Crystal Paint Cleaner
Meguiar's #7 Show Car Glaze (obviously, for black)
Meguiar's Gold Class Wax
Now, my new Z is PIKES PEAK WHITE, so I'm assuming I need new products to replace the Glaze and Polish? And I think that the Polish and Paint Cleaner basically do the same thing, along with the glaze (people have told me this...). So what should I do? My buffer from Detailed Image will be in next week, so I'm trying to get my products ready!

Changing vehicle colors does not mandate a change in polish and waxes, but as Vader said there are better options on there. I have the same color vehicle and have had excellent results with Menzerna polishes and using Full Molecular Jacket as a sealant, letting it cure over night and following up with a second coat and then moving on to P21S Carnauba Wax for the last step. P21S does a great job of bringing out the pearl in the paint. If you are happy with your polishes, stick with them until it is time to order some new polish and put your money towards a quality wax.

Thanks for all of the info!
I'll look into the profucts you guys through out there, and probably talk to Detailed Image and see what they suggest.
I'm going to do my friends black Chrysler Crossfire that is black, so I'll use my old Meguiar's stuff on it sense most of it is for black.

I would be happy to help you select some products that will best suit your needs and maximize your detailing efforts. Additionally let me know what pads you have and I'll try and provide some more suggestions. I think the most noticeable area I would give you a recommendation for is the polishes. However I'll wait until I hear back from you before I make more suggestions.

I would recommend three or for of each of the following: orange, white, grey and two blue. I change my pads halfway through the detail, on a larger vehicle I would change it after each quarter of the vehicle. The blue is if you want to really burnish the polish, but the grey pad should be sufficient for most. Pair the orange with your medium polish or compound and the white pad for your light finishing polish. The green pads are even light, but I find the white sufficient. You can use the grey for a second round of light polishing or to apply your LSP.

For polishing I generally recommend one of the following two combinations for best results.
Favorite Combo - Excellent cutting power and finishes down extremely smooth and glossy
Menzerna PO83 (aka Super Intensive Polish) and Menzerna PO106FF
Apply Menzerna PO83 with orange light cutting pad
Apply Menzerna PO106FF with white polishing pad
Awesome Value - great results and more affordable price
Menzerna Intensive Polish and Menzerna Final Polish II
Apply Menzerna Intensive Polish with orange light cutting pad
Apply Menzerna Final Polish II with white polishing pad
Both sets of products will help permanently remove the swirls, oxidation and surface imperfections. This leaves you with a cleaner and more optically clear surface. Having a smoother clear coat also helps the sealant or wax adhere to the paint better.

Yellow Cutting Pad - heavy cutting polishes
Orange Light Cutting Pads - medium cutting polishes
White Polishing Pads - light cutting polishes, finishing polishes, AIO
Black Finishing Pads - glazes, AIO
Blue Fine Finishing Pads - sealants and waxes
Snappy Clean is just for cleaning the pads after a detail. Thank you for the e-mails hopefully we'll get a great routine down for you.

I'm sorry about that I don't think I have gotten an e-mail from you. I've been responding to just about all my e-mails and PMs within one business day or less. Please send it again if you can or shoot me a PM and I'll be sure to take care of you. There is a link in my signature for e-mails if you want to be sure you have the right address.

I just sent you a reply via e-mail and PM. I think I figured out what happened. I did receive your first e-mail and I sent a response but yahoo was unable to deliver you your mail. Yahoo had some serious e-mail problems this week but I believe it has been resolved. I noticed this problem with many of our other users who have yahoo accounts. Hopefully it is all taken care of now and you have the information to help you with your detailing. Thank you for your patience and I look forward to hearing back from you.
