Default Z5 drying superfast....

Anybody had this experience. I was putting on a coat of Z5 last night in my garage where it was problably 65°F and it was drying almost as soon as I applied it. The pad was actually removing what I had put on. I did the roof and the hood and could remove the top right after. I did 2 coats and then one of Z2 which I left on overnight since it was late. Both coats of the Z5 seemed to cure almost instantly though which didn't happen the first time I used it. I'm thinking the low humidity last night caused it. They were put on top of 3 Z2 coats and a Z5 if that makes any difference.

Low the humidity, the faster it dries. Sal has seen it dry in less than less than 10 minutes, he might have even said 6 minutes. Even with the ZFX, make sure you wait the time suggested before apply the next coat. The more you apply, the easier it becomes to put on and buff off. Even washing with Z7 becomes easier. The mitt, sponge or pad seems to float. What did you think of putting on the Zaino and letting it dry overnight? You can do it without ZFX, with low humidity, mild temps and if you can give it 10-12 hours drying time.

Yeah, I've been putting it on and leaving it and seems to work quite well. I agree with the floating. The hardest time I have is getting the car wet enough to wash it. I have to mist it rather than spray it so I get smalle enough water droplets that gravity doesn't cause them to slide right off. It's like Rain-X for paint.

"HokieZ", I like you find it hard to keep water on the "Z". You must "mist" it to wash it, then just let the water run to "rinse" it. Zaino is amazing!

Dampen the pad slightly with Z-6 or water. It will help it from flash drying as you try to spread the polish evenly.
