Default Fog-x

Has anybody ever used Fog-X?

I applied a hefty amount on the inside of my front winshield in order to stop fogging. About three weeks later I'm driving for a while with the windows up, air set to blow in from outside as I'm driving (not set to blow warm air intentionally), and outside is about 52 degrees. All of a sudden I notice a haze in the upper left hand corner of the windshield and it just begins to spread until I couldn't see. Finally I tuirned on the air cond. to blow fresh air into the windshield and it disappears.

I love the rain-x stuff seeing as how it works so well. But the fog-x...? Has anybody else used this stuff and received different results than me?

Re-applied a second coat of Fog-x a few weeks ago, and I have to say that the second coat makes all the difference. All three other main windows were foggy while the front windshield was clear (applied only to front as the others are all tinted). The front windshield did slightly start becoming fogged after about 45 minutes driving, but even then the fog appearence level was slight. I definitely recommend this product. I applied two coats 1st time and the same the second time. Only the second time did the product begin to work.

best thing to do is do what scuba divers do to their masks before they jump in the water. use spit! it might sound gross...but it works awesome!

i've never used fog-x or anything and i've never tried the spitting thing...but i know it works when i scuba dive or snorkel.

I don't know... that takes a lot of spit to cover an entire front windshield. . Its not like i'm a camel or anything, I just might not have enough.

haha. you don't have to get it sopping wet. just smear it around!

or, save up the spit for about a week and then use a squeegee!

gross!
