On the front of my bumper looks like I have a streak of tree sap. I assume it is tree sap because it is real sticky. What's the best method of removal?

My car looks like it got gizzed on by an Ent.

 

lighter fluid w\paper towel or regular towel then wash with soap and clean then follow up with some wax

 

yeah i used wd40 then buffed out the hood with wax

 

I usually use one of the bug and tar removers that you can get at the local Auto Zone.
My car looks like someone blew their nose all over it. Little green sap boogers everywhere.

 

DO not use GOO gone. 4 years later I still have a haze in that spot

 

The Stoner Tarminator has helped me remove some stubborn tar and sap. If the sap is really fresh like 1 - 2 days max I've used a pressure washer to get it off. However if the sap has really hardened on there and there are large chunks of it, they may need more work.

 

Hot water works well also

 

I used goo gone for removing my badges and theres no hazing.

 

cooking oil works great, no damage to paint..

 

I just used tarminator to remove tree sap off my black 350z. Worked wonders against the same had hardened for over a week!
