does anyone know how to get shallow scratches out?

Default does anyone know how to get shallow scratches out?

i'm not talking about swirlmarks . . . i'm wondering if there are any good products that will get rid of really small shallow scratches? any help would be greatly appreciated!

The only way to do this is to either a) fill the scratch or b) buff the paint away until it's the same thickness as the lowest point of the scratch.

Are you down to the primer, or is the color at the scratch the same?

Here's an answer:
1. Try Meguiars Step 1. Apply it with a microfiber towel (auto zone has them). Keep applying and it should come out. This removes wax so don't forget to re-polish/wax. As long as the scratch is not dark (meaning you cut through paint) you should be able to buff it out no prob. Done it several times. PM me if you want specifics young jedi

2. You could also try Meguiars Scratch X. However, I prefer Meguiars Step 1

the scrathes are very shallow, except for one . . . same color just really fine lines that i think were caused during my first car wash. but one on the door is a lil' deeper, maybe someone's zipper or something as they walked by . . . what can i do, right.
